Prepare 3000×3000 artwork for your music distributor when releasing on services such as Spotify or Apple Music, or select a YouTube thumbnail, channel banner, LinkedIn cover, X header or Facebook image size. These presets set the canvas dimensions, not platform approval: check the destination's current file-type, file-size and artwork rules. Banners may be cropped differently across devices; keep important text and faces near the centre.

Convert HEIC, JPEG, PNG, WebP and AVIF images

Open a HEIC or HEIF photo from your phone and save it as JPEG for broad compatibility, PNG for lossless encoding and transparency, or WebP or AVIF for modern web use. JPEG, PNG, WebP and AVIF can also be used as source images. HEIC/HEIF is input-only; only the first still image is processed, not a Live Photo or an animation.

JPEG cannot preserve transparency; transparent areas become white. PNG, WebP and AVIF support a transparent background. JPEG, WebP and AVIF offer adjustable encoding quality; file size depends on the image and settings. AVIF export can take longer, and not every destination accepts it. Codec files are downloaded as needed, but your image stays on your device. Files are limited to 25 MB and decoded images to 40 megapixels; memory limits may be lower on some devices.

Creator Format processes your images entirely in your own browser. Your photos are never sent to a server, never stored and never shared by Creator Format. This includes unpublished artwork, client material and personal photos; account and payment data are handled separately as described in the privacy policy.

How do I resize an image to 3000×3000 pixels?

Will my image lose quality?

The image is re-encoded at the size you choose. Export as PNG for lossless encoding, or as JPEG/WebP/AVIF with an adjustable quality setting. Enlarging an image cannot restore missing detail, and exports do not preserve the original metadata.

Does it keep transparency?

Yes – choose a transparent background and export as PNG, WebP or AVIF. JPEG does not support transparency, so transparent areas become white.

Can I convert an iPhone HEIC photo to JPEG?

Yes. Choose the HEIC/HEIF file, select JPEG under “Convert to” and create the image. Keep the original dimensions or choose a preset. If a particular HEIC file cannot be decoded, export it as JPEG on your device first. HEIC metadata, HDR and multi-image features are not retained.
